So, the Escort died on me unexpectedly.

I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. Late model American cars really are junk, I have come to see.

What happened? I ran over a piece of wood. It smashed the exhaust manifold, dented the oil pan, and ripped the coolant line out of the bottom of the engine. Engine overheated, and cracked the head gasket. I ( Read more... )

Ever since I got my netbook (an Asus EEE PC 900) I've really liked the little thing. But, it's been of little use due to it's one glaring flaw: the SSD it shipped with was horriffically fucking slow. I meant to post this a while ago with some more specific information, but it kind of fell by the wayside as things have been hectic with me trying to cram in as much to be done as possible. I started counting slowly and distinctively, intending to be obnoxious, but when I got to five or six, I decided to imitate The Count from Sesame Street. So I ended with "Eight bottles of gin!
